Apartment Central Property Management is a growing local property management company in Biddeford, Maine. We manage both vacation rentals (Airbnb/VRBO) and long-term apartment properties, and we’re hiring a Seasonal/Long Term Property Operations Assistant to help support our growing company.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, working both indoors and outdoors, and taking pride in keeping properties clean, guest-ready, and well maintained.
This position could develop into a long-term role within the company allowing you ample opportunity to grow with the company.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work will support both our short-term rental and apartment operations, including:
Vacation Rental Support
- Airbnb and VRBO turnovers
- Cleaning and staging units for incoming guests
- Restocking supplies and reporting issues
- Guest communication and check-in support
- Helping resolve guest needs quickly and professionally
Property Upkeep
- Yard care such as cleaning flower beds, mowing, brush clean up, etc
- Exterior clean-up and curb appeal
- Trash and outdoor area checks
- Helping keep all properties looking their best
Apartment Turnovers & Leasing Support
- Cleaning and preparing apartments for move-ins
- Key exchanges
- Unit showings
- Move-in and move-out support
- Painting touch-ups and punch-list items
Light Maintenance
- Replacing light bulbs
- Minor repairs
- Painting
- Basic troubleshooting
- Reporting larger maintenance issues
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Friendly communication style with guests and tenants
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Weekend availability helpful during peak turnover days
