QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
  • May require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, team members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs duties as assigned to Drop/Count team members.
  • Performs all the duties associated with collecting the cash boxes from the machines and table games.
  • Accurately counts and records daily cash receipts from various revenue producing venues.
  • Conducts all facets of the count, prepares the drop, verification of documentation and bundling of currency to the final reconciliation of totals, as well as any other related task.
  • Prepares various reports, reconciles all totals to the Master Summary; forwards all information to appropriate individual(s).
  • Maintains all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the cashiering and count room division of the Finance Department.
  • Understand and comply with established appearance standards.
  • Understand and comply with the attendance policy of the casino.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
