SUMMARY:
Under the direction from the Finance Director, reviews, summarizes, and audits supporting revenue paperwork from operating casino departments according to established policies, procedures, and regulations. Maintains strict confidentiality of information. Assists and trains other Revenue Auditors and coordinates the revenue audit workflow. Ensures paperwork of Jackpots, floor prizes, and Title 31 documents are maintained for compliance and submission to regulatory agencies in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures and financial systems.
· Knowledge of business English, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and basic arithmetic.
· Skill in operating various word-processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs in a Windows environment, specifically Word and Excel.
· Skill in operating 10-key by touch.
· Skill in analyzing problems, projecting consequences, identifying solutions, and implementing recommendations.
· High School Diploma or GED
· Three (3) to Five (5) years accounting experience preferred. Casino experience preferred.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds.
· Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines.
· Ability to make solid decisions and exercise independent judgment.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Must be able to successfully pass a pre- employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
· Tribal preference.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
· Reconciles gaming drops, food and beverage sales, and jackpots and fill slips for the revenue day.
· Investigates and analyzes discrepancies within the daily paperwork in a timely manner; reports finding to the CFO and/or Accounting Manager.
· Generates and distributes daily accounting reports.
· Secures and maintains financial original documentation according to established policies and procedures.
· Verifies revenue posting and paid-out documentation.
· Assists with external audits by supplying requested documentation.
· Assists and trains other Revenue Auditors and coordinates revenue audit workflow.
· Reviews source documents for compliance to control standards and policies.
· Retrieves original paperwork, separates based on audits and reviews for accuracy.
· Audits monthly and quarterly meter readings on slot machines on the Casino floor.
· Ensures full compliance with departmental internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
· Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
· Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
· Ensures paperwork of Jackpots, floor prizes, and Title 31 documents are maintained for compliance and submission to regulatory agencies in a timely manner.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile guests. High volume direct public contact.
