Location: Field-based in the Atlanta Region - Territory includes but is not limited to Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina
Status: Full-time | Exempt

What You Will Do
As a Quality Auditor, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of engineered wood products across North America. You will conduct thorough audits, inspections, and testing to evaluate compliance with established standards and policies. Your insights and expertise will directly contribute to the continuous improvement of production procedures and quality systems in the engineered wood industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct product and process audits at member mills.
• Inspect products for compliance with relevant standards and policies.
• Conduct product sampling, retesting, intensive grading and test witnessing as required.
• Report on findings to mill management and APA leadership.
• Provide training and support for mill staff.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper use of APA equipment.
• Travel regularly throughout your assigned territory.

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or two years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Functional knowledge of engineered wood products.
• Experience with national/international quality standards.
• Eligibility for ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or ISO Lead Auditor certification (or ability to obtain).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows OS.
• Physical ability to handle and stack wood panels and lift/move 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

• Competitive salary range of $70,400 to $85,000 annually, based on experience.
