This role is based in or near Charlotte, NC, with travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Candidates should be located within reasonable proximity to Charlotte to effectively manage the territory.

What You Will Do
- Build and maintain relationships with key construction professionals
- Educate and train end-users and specifiers on engineered wood products
- Promote APA member products through in-person and virtual meetings, seminars and trade shows
- Investigate product performance in the field and provide technical insights
- Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth
- Serve as a subject matter expert for specific product types or market segments.
This role is based in or near Charlotte, NC, with travel throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Candidates should be located within reasonable proximity to Charlotte to effectively manage the territory.
Who You Are
- A self-starter who thrives in independent field work and collaborative team environments
- Comfortable working on construction sites, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication, with a professional and ethical approach
- Tech-savvy and able to use virtual tools to connect with stakeholders
- Willing to travel extensively across the territory, including overnight stays
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, wood sciences, or related field preferred
- Experience in technical sales, marketing, or construction related industries
- Knowledge of energy-efficient construction is a plus
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
