General Laborer / Property & Grounds Helper

We are looking for a reliable general laborer / property helper for local work in the Wheeling, WV / Ohio Valley area.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is dependable, shows up on time, follows directions, and is willing to do different types of physical work. No major construction experience is required.

This position will involve working directly with the owner/manager on various property, maintenance, cleanup, landscaping, and project tasks.

Work may include:

• Moving materials, tools, furniture, and supplies
• Loading and unloading
• Digging, pulling weeds, clearing brush, and outdoor cleanup
• Landscaping prep and yard cleanup
• Carrying flooring, lumber, trash, and other materials
• Jobsite cleanup
• Sweeping, hauling, organizing, and general cleanup
• Demo and trash removal
• Helping maintenance workers, contractors, and project leads
• Basic painting prep
• Simple assembly tasks
• Property cleanup
• General labor for apartments, hotels, rentals, and other properties
• Other hands-on tasks as needed

• Reliable and on time
• Willing to work hard
• Able to lift and carry materials
• Able to follow directions
• Comfortable with outdoor work, digging, and cleanup
• Has transportation
• Flexible with different types of tasks
• Does not need constant supervision
• Construction, landscaping, moving, warehouse, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required

Pay:

$12 – $15 per hour based on reliability, experience, and ability.

Schedule:

• Full-time or part-time available
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed depending on project needs
• Hours may vary based on workload and weather
