Job Summary
The PRN Pharmacist will be responsible for but not limited to covering other pharmacists as needed across various departments (Sterile Compounding, Verification, Call Center, etc.), working closely with team members across these departments, and ensuring the timely completion of all assigned tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide coverage for pharmacists as needed in various departments including sterile compounding, prescription verification, and call center operations.
● Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments to ensure seamless workflow and patient care.
● Accurately and efficiently perform all duties required within the assigned department, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
Required
● Pharm.D.
● Current Pharmacist license in Texas.
● At least 2 years of experience in retail, compounding, or prescription verification.
● Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
Preferred
● IV Certification
● Customer service experience
Physical Requirements
● Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
● Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
● Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
Compensation
● Hourly rate: $57.00
