What are the responsibilities and job description for the Referrals Coordinator position at AOO | ENT Specialists of the Rockies?
We are a wonderful organization seeking a referral coordinator to manage all incoming referrals for our specialty practice.
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Managing all incoming referrals from primary care physicians and other specialty practices
- Scheduling appointments for eight physicians, three physician’s assistants, one nurse practitioner, and four audiologists.
- Clerical duties: faxing, printing, scheduling appointments
Qualifications include:
- Prior experience working in a medical office is required
- Must have excellent phone etiquette, be organized, able to multitask and prioritize while handling a high volume of calls
- Must have a pleasant voice and an outgoing personality
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have attention to detail
- Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is preferred
- Computer skills are required
