As part of an industry-leading practice, you will help our clients make informed decisions by delivering data-driven, innovative, and effective solutions in our Talent Solutions Practice group supporting the Executive & Board Advisory business. As a Partner Equity Services Team Leader, you will set strategy and long-term planning for the team, oversee all operations, staffing and administrative tasks, own the income statement for the business and balance multiple client engagements. The goals of the person in this role will be to generate and grow revenue for the Equity Services team, improve operational efficiency, identify areas of growth and improvement, innovate on new and existing solutions and drive engagement and professional development of the team. You will also play a significant role in the leadership of the greater Executive & Board Advisory business, helping to grow collaboration and process improvement for the greater business.
The ideal candidate would be located near a major Aon Office within the United States.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $275,000 to $325,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.

Revenue Generation
- Generate revenue by responding to requests for proposals and sales leads and business relationships and proactive initiative.
- Contribute to business development through participation in industry forums and events.
- Identify current and future needs among our client base to pursue new or expanded work.
- Build relationships inside and outside of Aon to drive collaboration and business growth.
- Guide teams through strategic initiatives and business change
- Set strategy for the business including where to make investments, where to make changes, and how to improve operational efficiency without impacting growth.
- Share subject matter expertise on technical issues, business development techniques, and/or project management skills with colleagues.
- Provide leadership, day-to-day direction, technical training and professional mentoring to colleagues in the practice.
- Actively collaborate with peers.
- Offer input on staffing needs to meet business demands and help with recruitment and on-boarding or new team members.
- Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, leveraging colleagues and technology.
- Promote brand awareness by being active within Aon and at industry events.
- A minimum 10 years of relevant work experience with demonstration of prior career progression.
- Experience with leading large teams and developing future leaders and consultants.
- Experience running a business or solution line using colleagues, technology and innovation to drive business outcomes.
- Expert knowledge of equity compensation strategy, design, and implementation issues, including financial reporting, program design and administration.
- Familiarity with corporate governance policies and trends, especially those related to SEC disclosure, ISS and Glass Lewis policies, and other technical areas impacting executive compensation.
- Proven track record of providing trusted advice to clients, understanding business problems, and providing potential solutions.
- Exceptional consultative skills, including relationship building, process definition and meeting facilitation.
- Advanced client, project, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing a P&L is preferred
- A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field.
- A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
