Aon is looking for a Broker Analyst
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Risk in New York City.
Aon Transaction Solutions (“ATS”) focuses on brokerage of transaction liability insurance products (e.g., Representations & Warranties, Tax, Litigation and other Contingent risks), largely in the context of M&A transactions.
We are looking for an entry-level Analyst to assist the senior members on the team, track and analyze data, and ultimately serve in a junior broker capacity.
Your impact as a Broker Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Support senior brokers on day-to-day deal tasks and other long-term projects
- Prepare analyses for private equity and corporate clients and insurance carrier meetings
- Manage group’s pipeline and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual internal financial reports
- Complete ad-hoc business development projects
- Conduct benchmarking and track economic and market developments
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
- Prior Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics Coursework or Internship Experience;
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimal supervision;
- Effective presentation, reporting and communication skills; and
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Ability to attain a Broker’s License in first year of employment
Education:
- BS required (degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred)
