AOC Outreach Services LCSW Intern Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a fully licensed Texas LCSW to provide clinical supervision and professional development support exclusively to Master's students in their practicum and/or internship. This role focuses on mentorship, oversight of clinical services, skill-building, and ensuring ethical and professional standards are upheld in accordance with Texas regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Review and monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, compliance, and quality
- Provide weekly individual and/or group clinical supervision to assigned interns
- Support Interns in case conceptualization, treatment planning, and intervention strategies
- Ensure adherence to Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners rules and ethical standards
- Ensure adherence to current learning agreement per college requirement for field education
- Offer guidance on crisis management, risk assessment, and mandated reporting
- Provide constructive feedback to promote clinical growth and competency development
- Maintain supervision documentation in compliance with educational institution requirements
- Maintain communication with educational institutions about intern performance
- Collaborate with leadership regarding Intern performance and professional development
- Maintain a team of 8-10 Interns
- Partner with the HR Team on viable candidates
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent in this position does not have supervisory responsibility. However, he or she may be expected to provide leadership and instruction to volunteers and/or less experienced staff.

QUALIFICATIONS/POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Active, unrestricted Texas LCSW license
- Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience preferred
- Completion of required Texas-approved Supervisor Training (if applicable to supervision type)
- Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines, documentation standards, and best clinical practices
- Excellent mentorship, communication, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of electronic medical records
- Participates in monthly and quarterly clinician meetings to address intern needs and requirements (virtual and in-person)
- Weekly Supervision calls with 8-10 Interns
- Knowledge of community and community resources
- Ability to pass background check
- Assist with discharge planning for client treatment
- Assisting with providing agency with treatment resources (accredited material) and community resources for client collaboration of care
- Valid Texas State Driver’s License
- TB Clearance CPR Certificates
- CANS 1.0 3-6 and 6-17
- Local travel may be required
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
To perform effectively in this position, the incumbent must have/be:
- Experience supervising LMSWs or Clinical Interns
- Background working in community mental health, private practice, or outpatient settings
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
Base Salary
Contractor shall receive a total annual compensation of $30,000.00, payable in equal installments on a biweekly basis in accordance with the Company's payment schedule. Contractor acknowledges that they are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and no taxes or other or other withholdings will be made by the Company.
EDUCATION
Must have completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, This role is ideal for an experienced LCSW who is passionate about developing future clinicians (MSW, LPC, and LMFT) and fostering high-quality, ethical mental health practice.
