Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships within the healthcare payer ecosystem, including health insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and government-sponsored healthcare programs. This role serves as the primary point of contact for client accounts, driving customer satisfaction, contract performance, and business growth.
The ideal candidate has deep experience working with healthcare payers and a strong understanding of payer operations, healthcare analytics, and value-based care initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of healthcare payer accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership.
Serve as a trusted advisor to payer clients by understanding their operational, regulatory, and strategic priorities.
Lead contract renewals, business reviews, and ongoing account planning activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, product, implementation, and delivery, to provide tailored client solutions.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and compliance metrics across client engagements.
Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships through additional solutions and services.
Stay informed on healthcare payer trends, reimbursement models, regulatory changes, and value-based care initiatives.
Act as the primary escalation point for client issues and ensure timely resolution while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Develop strategic account plans aligned with client objectives and organizational goals.
10 years of experience in healthcare account management, client success, strategic account management, or business relationship management, preferably supporting healthcare payers.
Strong understanding of payer operations, including claims processing, provider networks, utilization management, reimbursement models, and value-based care.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Experience managing executive-level client relationships and leading business reviews.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as ICD-10, CPT, HL7, and FHIR.
Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting or analytics tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic accounts while driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Experience working with healthcare analytics, AI, digital transformation, or technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
Knowledge of government-sponsored healthcare programs, managed care organizations, and regulatory requirements.
Experience collaborating across sales, product, analytics, implementation, and customer success teams.
Proven success identifying account growth opportunities and expanding strategic client partnerships.
High client satisfaction and retention rates.
Successful renewal and expansion of strategic payer accounts.
Strong executive relationships with key client stakeholders.

- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, HL7/FHIR)
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting platforms
- Current Market-Relevant Experience: Candidates should have recent and clearly demonstrable AI/GenAI consulting, account management, or business development experience, with no significant unexplained career gaps.
