What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabricator Welder position at AOA (Architectural Openings & Access)?
We are a growing commercial frame, door and hardware company and we are looking to fill a first shift fabricator/welder position. This position will be responsible for a wide array of tasks including cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, etc.
Qualifications needed are:
*a good attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
*a minimum of 1 years of fabrication and welding experience, preferably with hollow metal frames and doors
*Experience with common welding processes
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
*Experience in the safe operation of common shop tools and power tools
*Ability to lift 70 lbs.
*AWS certification or technical school a plus, but not required
Qualified candidates must have a willingness to learn, attention to detail, high standards of quality, able to work well with others, and be dependable.
