Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to gather accurate measurements and evaluate flooring project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand project specifications and expectations.
- Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine material quantities and specifications.
- Utilize industry knowledge to select appropriate flooring materials and finishes for each project.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, considering labor, materials, and other project-related expenses.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, pricing, and new products to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating or project management.
- Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator or similar role in the construction or flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, installation techniques, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in relevant software for estimating and project management.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at a time

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
