Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor

Anytime Fitness is currently seeking individuals who can deliver a fantastic gym experience to our members and future members. This position requires a strong ability to coach and manage time, motivating multiple clients in a group setting if you are to teach group classes. This position will also require you to meet new prospects looking to become members, give them gym tours, identify their needs and get them started on the right path here in the gym.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build fitness attendance and retain current members
• Grow 1 on 1 and group training member base
• Attend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Provide exceptional member service
• Spend a few hours a week cleaning the gym and helping staff do the same.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a strong knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
• Previous sales or customer service experience
• Bachelor's degree in an exercise related field is preferred but not mandatory
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized
• Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
• Excellent communication and customer attention skills
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 40lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
