Janitor and Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities. This position requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing a clean and safe environment for all employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure all areas are kept clean and presentable.
• Conduct floor fitness machine dusting and cleaning.
• Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Refill toilet paper and paper towels as needed.
• Laundry onsite
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles preferred, particularly in commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
