Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone with up to two years of experience who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and service-oriented business. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in our month-end close, reconciliation processes, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries related to daily transactions
- Assist with monthly close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Maintain fixed asset records and record depreciation
- Support AP and Field Services teams with accounting with AP and AR transactions
- Assist with financial reporting and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits
- Collaborate with field operations and customer service teams to ensure accounting accuracy
- Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (internships in a related field are a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Intacct, QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, or similar) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Interest in or experience with the home services or construction industry is a plus
