nSAS Installation and Migration Service
sConsultant will provide installation and configuration services for SAS 9.4m8 on a new production server within AWS. The new servers will be built with same like-for-like configuration as the existing on-prem servers. This engagement also includes migration of existing data, users, and SAS assets on both Windows and Linux environments
.
Activities include but are not limited t
o:• Project kickoff and requirements gatheri
ng• Conduct migration planning meetings and define migration approa
ch• Create the Pre-Installation Requirements Document (PIRD) Installation and Configurati
on• Download the SAS 9.4m8 Software Depot including any required SAS components, products, or bundl
es• Migrate three on-prem servers (tiers) to one AWS instanc
e.• Installation and Configuration of SAS 9.4m8 in an out-of-the-box configuration with HTTPS for all communicatio
ns• Application of required hot fix
es• Post installation and validation of SAS 94m8 components (excluding unused SAS Forecast Serve
r)• Configure MA DOR specific SAS/Access to PC File formats configurati
on• Configure MA DOR specific SAS Metadata Libraries Migrati
on• Migrate metadata and users to the new SAS environme
nt• Migrate file system content, including SAS datasets, SAS Enterprise Guide projects, SAS programs, and source file
s.• Update schedules on new server to match existing serve
