Oracle EBS Consultant

Job Summary:

The Oracle EBS WCI Installation and Configuration Specialist is responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting WCI components in an Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.15 environment on Linux. This role also includes support for Accounts Payable (AP) and other invoice-related configurations to ensure smooth invoice processing and integration across the application landscape. The specialist will ensure the solution aligns with Oracle best practices, business requirements, and integration standards. Oracle AP setup commonly includes invoice and payable system options, financial options, and related configuration needed for invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure WCI components for Oracle EBS 12.2.15 on Linux.
• Perform prerequisite validation, environment preparation, and post-installation verification.
• Configure integration between Oracle EBS and WCI-related components.
• Support AP setup and configuration for invoice processing, including invoice entry, payable system options, and financial options
• Assist with configuration of invoice sources and related lookup/setup requirements for external or integrated invoice flows
• Manage application tier setup, including WebLogic Server and related middleware services.
• Support patching, cloning, and environment refresh activities for EBS and WCI.
• Troubleshoot installation, configuration, invoice setup, and integration issues across OS, middleware, and application layers.
• Work with DBA, infrastructure, and functional teams to validate end-to-end invoice and AP processing.
• Maintain technical documentation for installation steps, configuration settings, and support procedures.
• Support migration and validation across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments.
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.x architecture and administration.
• Hands-on experience with WCI or related Oracle content/integration components.
• Experience with Oracle AP setup, including invoice configuration and payable options.
• Knowledge of invoice import, invoice processing, and related AP setup for integrated environments.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS online patching, cloning, and file system architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote offshore model.
