Bookkeeper / Accountant (Bilingual – English/Spanish)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our close-knit team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys multitasking, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, including approvals, data entry, check processing, and mailing
- Handle most Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing and recording receivables
- Assist with General Ledger activities, including posting recurring entries and reconciling accounts
- Allocate expenses across related entities
- Prepare daily bank deposits and weekly check runs
- Record investment account activity
- Perform monthly reconciliations of cash, A/R, A/P, and G/L using industry-specific software
- Maintain organized financial and historical records
- Assist with monthly budget monitoring and annual audits
- Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Administrative Support
- Answer and route phone calls professionally
- Monitor and respond to general emails and voicemails
- Coordinate office mail and shipments
- Organize records, inventory, and office supplies
- Provide administrative support for meetings and company functions
- Draft correspondence when requested
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping experience (construction industry experience a plus)
- Proficiency in Sage 100 or QuickBooks
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Bilingual in English & Spanish (Preferred)

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
