Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Leadership
- Lead all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance systems, disciplinary actions, and termination processes.
- Manage benefits administration, workers’ compensation claims, and leave programs.
- Build and maintain a positive workplace culture focused on communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct leadership training, safety training, and coaching for supervisors and department leads.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure workflow efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with Production, QC, Warehouse, and CSR teams to resolve bottlenecks, shortages, and order discrepancies.
- Monitor KPIs including productivity, labor efficiency, quality defects, and on-time completion.
- Lead cross-department meetings to address operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support inventory control, raw material planning, and vendor coordination for domestic and overseas purchasing.
- Ensure SOPs are followed consistently across all departments and update them as processes evolve.
- Partner with maintenance and safety teams to ensure equipment readiness and safe working conditions.
- Advise ownership and senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and operational improvements.
- Drive initiatives that improve employee retention, reduce turnover, and strengthen leadership capability.
- Lead change management efforts during process updates, system upgrades, or organizational transitions.
- Support budgeting, labor forecasting, and operational planning aligned with company growth goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 5 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production planning, and quality control.
- Knowledge of OSHA, labor laws, and safety compliance.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin preferred for diverse workforce communication.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
