We are seeking a detail-driven Stockroom Clerk who takes pride in organization, accuracy, and supporting a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role is essential to ensuring materials flow efficiently, inventory remains accurate, and our production and sales teams have what they need to succeed.
A Snapshot of What You'll Do:
- Processing inventory paperwork
- Performing cycle counts and keeping inventory parts in order
- Performing all of the following actions - picking, pulling, staging, delivering, stocking, and counting of items
- Organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of the stockroom
- Following company policies, procedures and safety regulations
- Maintain the Kanban inventory levels
- All other duties as assigned
- Handling and fulfilling all sales and/or production work orders
- Moving or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment
- Enforcing and maintaining the FIFO (first-in-first-out) material protocol
- Maintaining a 5S clean, organized and safe area
Education and Experience Required:
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in inventory or shipping/receiving
- Familiar with safety procedures and warehouse equipment
- Must have basic computer knowledge
- Must have an excellent work ethic, and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work with temperature fluctuations and occasional dust
- SAP knowledge is a plus but not obligatory
- Occasionally will be using pallet jacks and simple hand tools

What We Do:
Anton Paar QuantaTec manufactures instruments for characterization of powders and porous materials using techniques like physisorption, chemisorption, gas pycnometry, mercury intrusion porosimetry, capillary flow porometry amongst others.
Supervision Exercised
This role is an independent contributor who is a member of multiple teams and does not have any direct supervision of staff.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, observe, communicate and handle items such as computers, machinery and other equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
In regards to organizational issues, the employee will comply with the regulations set forward in the Anton Paar Employee Handbook, except if otherwise stated.
