Job Overview
At Antique Automobile Radio, Inc. we specialize in hand-building authentic-looking radios with modern internals for classic vehicles. Our team takes pride in craftsmanship and precision. We're currently seeking full-time radio assemblers to join our growing operation in Palm Harbor, FL.
As a radio assembler, you'll work in a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment, building subassemblies and front units using hand and small power tools. You'll follow production notes and samples to create high-quality products for classic car enthusiasts.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a factory setting and possess mechanical knowledge that enables them to efficiently assemble products on the assembly line. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assemble front units using hand and power tools
- Follow production notes and physical samples to build products
- Perform light soldering
- Inspect components for defects and ensure high-quality output
- Maintain a clean, organized and self-sufficient work area (including taking detailed notes and/or photos for future build reference)
- Work collaboratively to meet daily production goals and solve problems as they arise
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic assembly issues is essential.
- Some soldering experience is required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Must have reliable transportation and be dependable
- Strong ability to follow instructions and recognize product imperfections
- Self-motivated and capable of working independantly
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- A background check will be conducted prior to employment. We do not hire individuals with violent criminal convictions or felony offenses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
