Service Advisor/Writer - Antioch Toyota

Antioch Toyota is looking to add a qualified individuals to our team! Currently we have openings for Automotive Service Advisors. BILINGUAL Spanish/English Speaking is a PLUS!

Must be able to work well as a team player and be able to relate to customers. If you have previous experience in the automotive industry this is the job for you!

Service Advisor/Writer Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as an automotive Service Writer/Advisor
• Must possess a positive attitude
• Must have, or be able to develop, detailed knowledge of vehicles and all equipment.
• Minimum of HS Diploma
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and basic applications (CDK software knowledge is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Service as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician
• Ensure that customer’s needs and expatiations are meet
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage
• Prepare and close repair orders by following the California Write it Right guide lines
• Communicate additional repairs and services needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection
• Administer the manufacture warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs
• Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers’ vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times
• Consult with customers keeping them informed on repairs and completion times including service expenses.
• Become a master of the product through Certification. The service advisor will keep up with industry trends and best practices.

Pay Scale:

The Advisor position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.50 and $18.50. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance.
