- Assist servers with food preparation, delivery, and clearing tables to ensure efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table settings, floors, and service stations.
- Buss tables promptly by removing used dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Support host/hostess duties such as greeting guests, managing waitlists, and seating customers.
- Handle food safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations.
- Prepare beverages and assist with basic food handling tasks when needed.
- Manage order taking using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience with beverage preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen support tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
