School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Pre-K–5th Grade

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Pre-K through 5th grade in Columbia, MD for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for a full-time school-based position with a collaborative team, a diverse student population, and a weighted caseload model designed to account for student needs and workload demands.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct speech-language therapy based on students' IEP goals and individual communication needs.
• Support students with a variety of communication disorders and severity levels.
• Provide individual and small-group therapy as appropriate.
• Support students with articulation and language delays.
• Provide services and interventions for students with Autism and other low-incidence disabilities.
• Conduct speech-language evaluations, screenings, and reevaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention based on student data.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to meaningful, individualized speech-language goals.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet state and district special education requirements.
• Collaborate with other SLPs to support effective caseload distribution and student services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
• Maryland Department of Health SLP License required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required based on experience and licensure status.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with IEPs and school-based service delivery is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, flexibility, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for helping students develop communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

• $70,000–$90,000 annual salary, based on experience
