We are currently seeking TWO full-time School Social Workers for the 2025-2026 school year in Lansing, Illinois! This position will serve K-8th grade students at an Elementary and Middle School (Both schools are located less than a mile apart)! If you're looking to begin employment sooner, this district is also open to hiring a School Social Worker to finish out the current school year and transition into next year.

Job Responsibilities

• Work onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
• Support students in grades K-8.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 30-40 IEP students.
• Assist general education students with social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Work with students with mild to moderate disabilities.
• Attend team meetings and collaborate with school staff to support student success.
• Provide direct services, conduct assessments, and implement interventions.
• Utilize strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across two schools.
• Work in a designated office space.

Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Social Work endorsement.
• Experience working with K-8 students is a plus, but not required.
