What You'll Do
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you'll provide support across a variety of HR functions, helping our communities and leaders deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting recruiting and onboarding activities for multiple locations
- Coordinating background checks, employment eligibility verification, physicals, and other pre-employment requirements
- Assisting with leave of absence and workers' compensation administration
- Maintaining HR reports, recruiting trackers, turnover reports, and other HR metrics
- Providing support and guidance to Staff Development Directors and community leaders
- Assisting with HR projects, training initiatives, and retention programs
- Troubleshooting HR technology platforms, including Paylocity, Apploi, and onboarding systems
- Conducting personnel file audits and maintaining accurate employee records
- Supporting payroll and benefits administration as needed
- Helping ensure compliance with employment requirements across multiple states
The ideal candidate:
- Enjoys helping people and providing excellent customer service
- Has a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Possesses a strong sense of accountability and follow-through
- Is comfortable learning new systems, processes, and regulations
- Demonstrates a growth mindset—when faced with something unfamiliar, they are motivated to learn rather than discouraged
- Communicates professionally and works well with a variety of personalities
- Is highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Values teamwork while also being able to work independently
- Prefers working in an office environment and collaborating face-to-face with colleagues
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
- Knowledge of healthcare employment requirements preferred
- Experience supporting multiple locations or a multi-state workforce is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred
