Sales & Promotions Embark Intern Summer 2027

The Attraction Sales & Business Development Team cultivates relationships with Tour Operators, Motorcoach Associations, Hotel Partners and other industry partners to promote the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The team represents the ministry at group tourism and leisure travel events, while also booking groups through direct phone sales, attraction site visits, and face-to-face sales missions.

The Group Sales Team is responsible for all pre-visit communications with guests and groups visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum by answering general questions, creating orders or reservations and assisting guests in booking with our partner hotels. They also provide member services and support upcoming workshops, programs, events, conferences and concerts. They qualify groups for their stay with our partner hotels and actively promote our tourism partners and the region.

The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal and professional development of the student.  As the Attraction Sales Embark Intern the student will receive opportunities to learn about events and attraction production in a working environment.  This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.

This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
• Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset
• Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments
• Participate in development courses provided for Embark Interns
• Participate in apologetics courses provided for Embark Interns
• Serve in the attraction operation departments to display our SERVE core value
• Answer inbound phone calls and emails regarding all attraction functions. Respond to inbound email inquiries requesting general information
• Transcribe and follow-up on voicemails for the Sales Team
• Provide personalized suggestions to groups for lodging and itinerary planning and send qualified leads to our hotel partners
• Assist with trade show presence and shipping tasks
• And all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church

Education & Experience

• Must have a minimum of 45 College Credits
• Must be currently pursuing a degree.
