What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advancement Specialist Part Time position at ANSWERS IN GENESIS GROUP?
Provides efficient processing of incoming, non-recurring donations. The Advancement Specialist should display our Core Values of SERVE when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done
- Sort mail ensuring donations are related to proper accounts
- Process incoming donations accurately and in a timely manner
- Prioritize incoming donations for processing
- Notify assigned staff of donations received per established protocol
- Answer donation-related calls as needed per established protocol
- Manage donation paperwork archive
- Assist with recurring donation management
- Enter donor communications in CRM
- Assist in facilitating processing of receipts by volunteers as needed
- Assist with thank you card or postcard mailings as needed
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Aptitude to learn database
- Knowledge of Answers in Genesis ministry a plus
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
Education & Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in data entry preferred
