What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Specialist position at ANRO INC?
Job Summary: This employee will work at the direction of the facilities manager. Generally daily work will consist of cleaning, repair or replacement of small items or preparation of areas for further maintenance. This employee will be working with staff members and vendors for maintenance or contract services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning, repairs and general maintenance of bathrooms and common areas throughout the facility including production and administrative areas
- Assist in maintaining production equipment and repairs
- Performs other duties or special projects as required
- Self-motivated and aware of OSHA and other safety related standards
- Engage in training of personnel in safety and evacuation matters
- High School diploma or equivalent, technical/trade training
- Exercises knowledge with 3 years of experience in maintenance or vocational trade activity
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity to assist in performing maintenance functions when necessary including electric, plumbing, etc.
- Good general computer skills with Microsoft office, and able to learn other security and environmental software systems
- Interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Familiar with OSHA standards as well as safety and Haz Mat details
