Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Function as part of an operations team focused on crimping and assembling of electromechanical devices.
- Work in a fast-paced environment working independently with minimal instruction after training period.
- Reading and understanding of schematics and blueprints to assemble components.
- Inspect finished assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitors product quality and reports on quality issues.
- Operates various assembly equipment (i.e. crimping, solder or potting equipment).
- Assist in pulling and packing or repacking product based on daily orders.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking component usage and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Follows good operations practices and required work safe practices.
- Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Able to work within constraints according to standard assembly cycle times.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as required with reasonable advanced notification.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Requirements -
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and within constraints while adhering to all company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to multi-task and handle competing responsibilities.
- Understands sense of urgency and can meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards.
- Good hand-eye coordination and hand dexterity and proven proficiency and skill in operating a variety of equipment for use of basic hand tools, tape measures, blueprints, schematics, etc.
- Basic computer skills for recording assembly data and accessing digital assembly instructions and specifications.
Physical Requirements -
- Ability to work while standing or being seated for long periods with daily breaks.
- Sustain repetitive motions, especially with hands to assemble components.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
- Must be able to crouch, stoop, and kneel periodically.
