We’re growing rapidly across the Cleveland market and are seeking an energetic, people-focused Area Director to oversee multiple cafés, develop strong managers, elevate guest satisfaction, and support continued expansion across the West Cleveland area.
Role Overview
The Area Director is responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, talent development, and brand culture across multiple locations. This leader ensures that each café delivers an exceptional breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience while modeling and upholding our Indulge in You philosophy and 5 Core Values: Generosity, Growth, Integrity, Service, and Results.
What You’ll Do
Multi-Unit Operations Leadership
- Lead and support multiple cafés to achieve company standards and performance targets.
- Conduct regular site visits focusing on guest experience, operational consistency, cleanliness, and brand standards.
- Drive execution of systems, food safety, and compliance procedures across all units.
People & Culture
- Recruit, develop, and mentor café managers and key hourly team members.
- Promote an empowering, team-first culture rooted in support, recognition, and accountability.
- Partner with managers to build schedules, training plans, and staffing strategies to support growth.
Financial Performance
- Analyze weekly and monthly financial reports to improve revenue, manage labor, and control food and operating costs.
- Identify opportunities to increase profitability and guest frequency.
- Lead cafés to operate with a sense of urgency and results-driven focus.
Guest Experience
- Champion our hospitality-driven culture — ensuring every guest receives exceptional service.
- Resolve escalated guest concerns and support managers in proactive guest-engagement strategies.
- Reinforce our Indulge in You culture by ensuring team members feel supported, respected, and valued
What You Bring
- Previous General Management Experience in a full service fast-paced environment.
- 3–5 years of multi-unit restaurant leadership experience (full-service preferred).
- Passion for developing managers and building high-performing teams.
- Expert understanding of restaurant operations including staffing, cost management, and guest relations.
- Strong communication, coaching, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while traveling between locations.
- A positive, energized leadership style that aligns with our 5 Core Values.
