What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prep Cook position at Another Broken Egg Cafe?
The Prep Cook is responsible in assisting all kitchen operations, ensuring the restaurant and company standards of quality and service are met. The Prep Cook will assist in preparing quality products through consistent execution of all prep lists for the cooking process. The Prep Cook will also prepare items according to company standards and procedures, as well as maintain a safe and clean kitchen area throughout the prepping process.

REQUIREMENTS
- Lifts and carries up to 70 lbs multiple times throughout a shift
- Comfortable working frequently in a hot and damp environment
- Ability to use hands 100% of the time
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time (6-8 hours)
- Must be able to hear well over loud background noise
- Must be able to pass any safety and sanitation validation and/or testing
- Must be able to read, organize, and execute all prep lists
- Must be ready and excited to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must wear proper dress attire, as we have an open kitchen
- Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high intensity environment
- Willing and able to comply with our dress code due to our open kitchen setting
