💧 Commercial & Residential Construction | Colorado Front Range
$150,000–$175,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Water/Wastewater Estimator who understands more than just the numbers?
We’re looking for a seasoned estimator with strong knowledge of water/wastewater construction, utility infrastructure, and the Colorado Front Range market to play a key role in pursuing and winning projects throughout the region.
This is a high-impact estimating and preconstruction role for someone who can confidently take a project from plans and specifications to a thorough, competitive, and buildable estimate.
🔨 What You’ll Be Doing• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and residential water/wastewater projects
• Review civil, utility, grading plans, specifications, and scopes of work
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
• Identify scope gaps, risks, exclusions, and opportunities
• Develop competitive bids while protecting project margins
• Collaborate with PMs, superintendents, vendors, subcontractors, and leadership
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project handoffs
🎯 What We’re Looking ForWe need someone who understands the work behind the estimate.
The ideal candidate will have:
✔️ Significant water/wastewater construction estimating experience
✔️ Strong knowledge of commercial & residential utility infrastructure
✔️ Experience estimating projects in the Colorado Front Range
✔️ Strong construction means, methods, materials, and sequencing knowledge
✔️ Excellent quantity takeoff, pricing, and bid analysis skills
✔️ Experience working directly with subcontractors and suppliers
✔️ Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
✔️ A stable employment history with demonstrated growth in construction
This is NOT simply a “numbers on a spreadsheet” position.
We’re looking for an estimator who can look at a set of plans and understand what it will actually take to build the project — recognizing challenges, asking the right questions, understanding the local market, and producing an estimate the team can confidently build from.
💰 $150,000–$175,000 depending on experience and qualifications
