Private Chef (Full Time, On Site)
We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Private Chef to join a full time culinary team serving an ultra high net worth family. This role is fully on site, five days a week, and focuses on supporting the Head Chef with all daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Head Chef with meal preparation and planning
• Adapt menus and techniques to meet the evolving preferences and needs of the family
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen in a fast paced environment
• Support smooth daily operations, including prep, service, and occasional events
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team with a focus on humility, professionalism, and a willingness to learn
Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in California cuisine and French cooking
• Skill in Asian cuisine and middle eastern is a plus
• Experience in Michelin starred kitchens or fine dining environments preferred
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Flexible with scheduling changes and menu adjustments
• Positive attitude with no ego and a commitment to continuous growth
