Intern — AI-Driven Market & Product Strategy (Agentic Marketplaces)

We are building a global network of AI-driven, agentic B2B marketplaces across multiple countries and industries. These marketplaces operate with autonomous agents that scan opportunities, evaluate actors, model value flows, and propose digital transformation solutions — all in a closed-loop, self-learning system.

We are seeking MBA interns who will act as human-in-the-loop strategists, overseeing 10–20 marketplaces each (scaling to 50–100 with tools and support). Your role is to:

• Monitor agent-led market scans
• Validate and curate AI-generated insights
• Analyze economic signals and partner opportunities
• Develop domain and geo-specific marketplace strategies
• Help shape early-stage digital transformation opportunities

Key Responsibilities

A. AI-Supported Marketplace Scanning

• Work with autonomous agents that perform:
• Opportunity discovery
• Actor/partner identification
• Market size estimation
• Competitive mapping
• Value flow analysis
• Validate, refine, and curate agent-generated insights.
• Flag gaps, inconsistencies, or high-value opportunities for escalation.

B. B2B & Domain-Specific Market Research

• Support research for 10–20 marketplaces across industries such as:
• Finance
• Healthcare
• Energy
• Education
• Telecom
• Logistics
• Retail and e-commerce
• Analyze domain-specific customers, pain points, supply chains, regulatory considerations, and potential solution areas.

C. Geo-Specific Opportunity Mapping

• For each assigned geography, research:
• Regional economics
• Local ecosystem players
• Industry adoption patterns
• Regulatory trends
• Emerging opportunities
• Identify which domains will scale fastest in each region.

D. Product & Solution Curation

• Take AI-generated solution outlines and refine them into:
• Clear problem statements
• Requirements summaries
• Early product concepts
• Potential partner integrations
• Opportunity briefs

You act as the human quality layer ensuring AI outputs become market-ready intelligence.

E. AI Orchestration & Feedback

• Learn how agentic systems propose strategies.
• Provide structured feedback that improves agent behavior.
• Help tune future market scans by refining input hypotheses.

Not prompt engineering — strategy supervision of intelligent agents.

Required Qualifications

• Current MBA student or recent MBA graduate
• Must be located in Southern California, ideally San Diego or nearby
• Deep interest in AI, digital platforms, product strategy, or marketplaces
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking
• High initiative, discipline, and ownership
• Ability to switch between domains quickly
• Strong written communication and slide-writing ability
• Comfort with multi-tasking across many domains at once
• Curiosity for global markets, economics, and business models

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Background in strategy consulting, business analysis, or product research
• Experience in any major vertical (finance, health, telco, etc.)
• Familiarity with market sizing, financial modeling, or competitive analysis
• Experience with AI tools, data analysis, or automation is a plus
• Ability to learn new industries rapidly

Work Expectations & Performance Model

• Oversee 10–20 marketplaces concurrently as the human-in-the-loop strategist
• Use AI-driven tools to escalate to 50–100 marketplaces per person with team support
• Deliver short weekly insights and long-form monthly deep dives
• Be proactive, precise, and deadline-oriented
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and rigor
