Position Overview
Are you an experienced CNA ready to take your career to the next level? Annie’s Assisted Living Facility is seeking a Weekend CNA Lead to oversee caregivers and ensure the highest level of care and operations within our facility.
This leadership role is ideal for a compassionate, dependable, and hands-on CNA who is ready to step into a supervisory position while continuing to provide exceptional resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support caregivers during weekend shifts
- Ensure all residents receive quality care in accordance with care plans
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support
- Conduct rounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall resident well-being
- Assist with medication reminders (per facility policy)
- Ensure proper documentation and communication between shifts
- Address and resolve any issues that arise with residents, staff, or the facility
- Communicate effectively with management regarding concerns, updates, and incidents
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNA in an Assisted Living Facility (required)
- Active CNA certification in the state of Florida
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of resident care and ALF regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and support team members
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
