- Applicants must be American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors or be able to complete the Water Safety Instructor course. Priority will be given to applicants with relevant teaching and/or swimming experience. Aquatic Centers will provide discounted on-site training to hired applicants.
- Swim lesson participants will be ages 3 and up, and group lessons are prescheduled, typically on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Private lesson opportunities are available to instructors teaching group lessons, and scheduling is flexible.
- All applicants must be at least 16 years of age and pass a pre-screening background check and drug test.
