Staff RN – Surgical Med/Surg / PCU
Location: Lancaster, OH
Pay range: $40/hr – $50/hr (W2 Contract)
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Surgical Med/Surg / PCU contract opportunity in Lancaster, OH. The RN will provide safe, quality patient care by utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with the healthcare team, and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care according to the nursing process.
• Provide quality care based on patient needs and established care plans.
• Educate patients and families throughout the admission, treatment, and discharge process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient conditions, communicate changes in status, and notify physicians as needed.
• Administer medications, perform treatments safely, and implement physician orders.
• Ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available for patient care and report issues appropriately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver effective, patient-centered care.
Requirements:
• Active Registered Nurse License in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma)
• Previous RN experience preferred
• Med/Surg, Surgical, or PCU experience preferred
