Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: Chester IL
Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday); 40 hours per week
Pay rate: $80/hour on W2
Qualifications
- Current Illinois License
- Board-certified Family, Primary Care or Adult
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance certificate
- Current DEA certificate
Job duties:-
- Completes H&P and the medical workup for admissions in addition to addressing the medical concerns in the Mental Health Center,
- Performs general medical evaluations and provides ongoing medical care and relevant diagnostic and treatment services..
- Documents medical issues/findings and recommendations
- Writes 90-day progress notes.
- Orders and interprets laboratory tests or other diagnostic procedures, as needed.
- Makes regular rounds evaluating medical progress.
- Provides routine medical treatment of illness and injury, prescribing medications and therapy per established protocols.
- Advises nursing staff on treatment modalities and procedures needed for individual treatment. Participates in treatment planning for individuals.
- Reviews out-of-house consultations and verifies follow-up of recommendations.
- Provides physician coverage.
- Examines staff when injured on the job and triages them.
- Serves as an active and contributing member in assigned committees and staff meetings
- Participates on the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team to evaluate clinical medical practices.
- Provides ongoing evidence-based practice research and Joint Commission standards compliance.
- Has a caseload of approximately 80 patients, many with no Chronic medical problems or issues.
Salary : $75 - $80
