Position Overview
As a member of the Annalect data science team, you will lead development efforts of an established machine learning web application and toolkit. This application democratizes popular machine learning methodologies and provides users within the Omnicom network access to powerful insights without any programming background. You will be responsible for leading development of key machine learning modules within this application with the ability to guide and mentor individual contributors.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Range
$140,000—$200,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.

You will be responsible for leading development of key machine learning modules within this application with the ability to guide and mentor individual contributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on Python development to build, scale and deploy machine learning pipelines in enterprise systems.
- Lead design and development of visualizations for machine learning modules.
- Collaboratively ideating and building tools with engineering teams to produce scalable, enterprise-level code.
- Lead code review and build best-practice workflows.
- Maintain a live data science application that has an established userbase across the Omnicom network.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing related fields. Advanced quantitative degree is preferred.
- Must have hands-on expertise in Python, JavaScript and SQL.
- Experience with technologies like Flask, Redis, scikit-learn, AutoML, flaml, D3, node, etc.
- Experience with Python Web Applications/Frameworks is required.
- Experience with cloud computing such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform and Azure preferred.
- Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning is required.
