Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Interior Designer role based on-site in Fairfax, VA. The Junior Interior Designer will assist with space planning, interior design projects, drafting construction drawings, and procuring fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E). Daily responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, preparing detailed plans and presentations, sourcing materials, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and knowledge of functional layouts
- Understanding of Architecture and experience with Construction Drawings
- Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection
- Proficient in design software such as Revit and Canva
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience or internship in a design studio is a plus
- Familiarity with high-end residential or boutique commercial projects is advantageous
