Tax Preparer

Full-time, Flex-time, and Seasonal Openings

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares business and income tax returns
• Researches new tax and accounting developments.
• Manages projects of one or more client assignments simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each project.
• Shares and transfers knowledge within the team.
• Develops deeper knowledge and skills in technical field.
• Actively pursues self-development opportunities.
• Manages the implementation of solutions for clients.
• Advises and coaches team members, provides consistent recognition and encouragement to team members.
• Works as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks.
• Performs a detailed review of the work to ensure quality, thoroughness and completion of assignment tasks within agreed time frames.

Qualifications:

• CPA, CPA candidate or EA preferred
• 1 – 3 years public accounting/tax preparation experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Creative problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite including MS Excel and Word
• CCH Axcess/Prosystems, QuickBooks, Sage 50 preferred
• Demonstrated history of reliability and ability to maintain client confidentiality

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
