Receiving & Shipping Associate

Ann Arbor Tees is seeking a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, great communication, and positive attitude to join our Warehouse Team as Receiving & Shipping Associate this season. As part of the Receiving & Shipping team, you are responsible for day-to-day operations of the loading dock, including receiving and inventorying incoming supplies, as well as making sure all orders are shipped out on time.

Here’s what you can expect on a daily basis:

• Pack and ship decorated orders as they are completed.
• Pack and ship returns as needed.
• Assist in loading/unloading deliveries/shipments, and log all inventory as it enters the building.
• Match packing slips of incoming garments/supplies with invoices to accurately confirm and date inventory.
• Organize dock/work station for orderliness at all times.
• Ensure the dock is accessible and safe.
• Drive company van to pickup and drop off orders to UPS and post office
• Other duties as assigned. May include cross-training and helping in other production departments on a slow day.

Candidate must possess:

• High school diploma required
• Driver License
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shift
• Attention to detail is a must
• Willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work where and when needed
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as on individual tasks
• Efficient and fast worker
• Positive attitude required!

Availability:

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. We are looking for new team members to join our daytime shift (generally runs 9am-5pm). Hours may expand, and some weekends required, later in the year during busy season based on production need.

Note that this is a seasonal position, running through December. Opportunity for permanent employment is dependent on anticipated workload and individual performance moving in to January.

Pay:

$16.00 - $21.00 per hour. This position starts at $16 per hour with opportunities for advancement.
