Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning schedules and staff assignments
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain consistent service quality
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet established cleanliness standards
- Oversee floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning, tile maintenance, and polishing to preserve facility appearance
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens to optimize resource utilization
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety compliance, and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest requests promptly and resolve any issues efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial processes
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with staff and other departments
