Summary:
Strategic Planning Analyst assists in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives for AnMed Health System. Identifies, analyzes, tracks, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and market planning.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring and tracking market share using defined service lines and market areas.
Works with the strategic team in development of goals and tracking methodology. Responsible for coordinating, creating, and updating service line scorecards.
Assist in financial analysis and development of proformas for new projects, along with tracking actual to original projected metrics.
Gather data about consumers, patients, competitors, and market conditions. Create competitor analysis reports when requested.
Extract, verify, compile, analyze and format data from other healthcare industry databases and other sources for planning, decision making, evaluation, and accountability purposes.
Prepare presentations of data for use in communicating with management team.
Coordinate multiple/simultaneous projects through the effective management of time in order to meet strict deadlines required by management or external customers.
Works and assist with other department duties and projects including, but not limited to operating and capital budget.
Become proficient in reporting for multiple databases including but not limited to Epic, Axiom Decision Support, GL-Premier, Axiom Management Reporting, Tableau, Maptitiude, and Axiom Capital. Special projects as required.
Qualifications:
BS degree in Strategic Studies, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field,MBA Preferred
3-5 years similar experience required
