Job Summary
Join our team as an operator, looking for an operator with experience running large dozers (D8 and D9).
Location
We are based in northern West Virginia, a large majority of our work is in NE, Ohio and SW Pennsylvania
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and other construction machinery to perform tasks including grading, digging, lifting, and moving materials
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to execute project plans accurately and on schedule
- Assist with site setup and cleanup activities, including positioning machinery and preparing work zones for upcoming tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational reports for project documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites with a strong understanding of construction processes
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery
- Familiarity with operating various machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and farm equipment
Preferred qualifications include experience in highwall remediation, mine reclamation, mass earth moving and clearing.
Pay: $28.00 - $60.43 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
