What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Training Coordinator position at Animix, LLC.?
Overview
Motivated Individual with a team outlook. This individual will train plant employees on job duties, SOP’s, and Animix culture. They will be responsible for coordinating and tracking all training. They will ensure Animix operators who are well-trained, highly proficient for their respective level, and follow detailed instructions and specifications to produce high quality products that meet or exceed customer specifications. The trainer must be an excellent communicator both verbally and through electronic communication portals, keeping other Animix employees well informed regarding employee proficiencies and/or the lack thereof, and be prepared to present recommendations for employee improvement or performance improvement actions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop new and veteran employees to meet all production standards and guidelines as defined within SOPs, Work Instructions, and other company documentation.
- Train plant employees on all safety protocols, policies, and procedures to include machinery, tools, equipment, and PPE.
- Communicate with the Business Operations Manager about training and job assignments.
- Monitor, track, and plan for individual and all plant training requirements, ensuring individual achievement of proficiencies.
- Collaborate with HR to facilitate training that can be accomplished through the Learning Management System.
- Administer proficiency tests.
- Administer proficiency reviews on an annual basis or as needed.
- Ensure that employees are trained to comply with feed safety procedures and protocols for all products and ingredients used in production.
- Ensure employees are trained so that all products are manufactured and packaged correctly according to the product formulation and specifications.
- Continually evaluate and implement methods to improve plant operations, efficiency, training, and time management.
- To provide any other assistance or service related to Animix as required by Director of Operation.
- Follow all SOP’s, GMP’s and HACCP guidelines and regulations.

Education and Work Experience
- Experience running multiple systems
- Prior experience in a Supervisory position (preferred)
- Highschool or equivalent
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Forklift operating experience
- Basic computer skills
- Barcode scanners
- Basic MS Office (Excel)
- Basic math skills
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work can sometimes be in a dusty environment
- Ability to lift 50 – 55 pounds

- Ability to climb stairs, work at heights if needed, use portable ladders
