Veterinary Receptionist - Experienced Customer Care Representative

Animal Hospital of Signal Mountain is looking to add some Part Time, experienced customer service motivated talent to our growing team! We are currently a five-doctor GP small animal practice that offers extensive treatment options as well as, a boarding and grooming facility.

Due to growth and necessity, we are looking to add an experienced, organised, customer service-driven receptionist to our practice. We are a high-volume, high-quality practice, so we are looking for a teammate who enjoys staying busy, and making the client and their pet a number one priority.

The ideal AHSM candidate:

· 1-3 years of experience in a small animal general practice setting

·2-3 years of experience in customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment. outgoing, professional personality is a must

· Windows Product knowledge (Outlook, Word and Excel)

· Excellent communication and written skills, as well as customer relation skills

· A strong knowledge base of medications and purposes

· Strong time management

· Strong attention to detail and documentation

· Able to multitask and maintain a calm environment

· Able to handle difficult conversations (cost, euthanasia, medical needs)

· Knowledge of Avimark Software Experience is a BONUS!

· Restraint and some vet assistant skills a bonus

· Dedication to quality care for patients and stressful client situations.

· Be a self-starter and self-motivated

· Be able to think on your feet and work well unsupervised.

Wage and Extras:

· Based on the candidate's knowledge and experience in the veterinary field as well as shift work pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.
